Criminal Law Working Group Meeting in Belgrade

On August 31-September 2, 2018 ABA ROLI organized Criminal Law Working group meeting in Belgrade, Serbia. The goal of the meeting was to finalize the advocacy documents and develop a precise advocacy schedule for the national advocacy initiatives for changes in the Criminal Procedure Codes in each of the member countries, as well as regional aspect of the whole campaign which will include all the network members (Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia). Participants of this working meeting were 14 lawyers from the five BRRLN member countries, who worked together during the meeting, to finalize the advocacy documents for the upcoming advocacy initiative and to develop communication strategy for the initiative. This working meeting was organized by the ABA ROLI Skopje office staff, and facilitated by Mr. Emil Atanasovski, consultant and Regional Director of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD).
